Digital Switchover

The Digital Switchover Liaison Manager's role is to assist individuals in both the Riverland & Murraylands regions, in the high priority groups (who have not yet made the switch to digital) by way of meetings with organizations and community groups to supply information and resources on how to GET READY for Digital Television (Analog switch off 15/12/10).

High priority groups include:

  • Seniors and elderly
  • People with disability
  • Low income households
  • Indigenous communities
  • Those living in geographically isolated areas
  • Culturally and linguistically diverse groups

The Manager will assist these people by way of providing information, brochures, contacts and referrals about how to “Switch” to digital television.

A series of community meetings, attending sporting and community events and arranging public workshops.
